With a reduced squad of 12 available it was always going to be a hard match against the division leaders. The lads though gave a good performance but could not match their opponents who now look likely to win the division.
Going in 3-0 down at half time, to their credit the lads did not give up and kept going, battling all the way through, well done. Our attacks and goal scoring opportunities were limited as Banbury dominated the play. Two more goals for Banbury in the second half saw them to a comfortable victory 5-0. |
