.Pitch was in excellent condition given all the recent rains and it was also a good game for the supporters.

In a quick summary, Bourne held the upper hand in first half as Charlie scored with a turn and shot and then Town equalised (another one conceeded from a corner). Will gave Bourne the half time lead as he battled away and was the strongest and quickest to react to a loose ball to score his first goal.

Town equalised early in the 2nd and they had the best of the half. Jamie and the defence held strong and in the end I thought a draw was a fair result.

Town return to Moreton for our third game against them in 4 weeks, this time in the supplementary cup. The first two have been close games and I anticpate this one could well fall into that mould.
