I have a question, does anyone know who marked the lines for the game on Sunday ?

They weren't marked out when I went up in the morning, and so to the mystery line marker person - thank you - and how long did take you to get all the mud off the marker out machine ?

THe game was switched from Snit to the 2nd pitch, and it played well although, not unsurprisingly it did have a lot of give in it !

The match was a close match as it had been in the previous encounter. I thought that despite going a goal down (from a strong cross), the Bourne held their shape well and passed the ball into dangerous positions. From one such move, Ollie surged into the box, and just as he was about to shoot he was bought down. Charlie duly stepped up and confidently put the ball wide of the keeper. The opposition put some good crosses in particuarly from the right which tested Jamies handling but he proved his quality by catching everything.

2nd half it was mostly Bourne pressure. Snit defended well as they had done in the previous game and they put their bodies in the way of some strong shots and goal line pressure. At the other end the defence were in the ascendancy with Jack, Tom and Chris winning most balls but Juniors carried a threat that had to be dealt with.

The winning goal came from a good move down the left, with Ollie and Wade involved, and the ball was knocked across the box for Tomo to hammer in from 12 yards. A real good goal to win the game - especially pleasing for Tomos mum who had just turned up in time to see him notch.

At home against Kenilworth Town this week, whom we had a very close game against last week.
