Introducing Our Female Pathway Lead
We’re delighted to introduce Liz Hession as our Female Pathway Lead, supporting and strengthening the girls’ and women’s pathway across the club.

Liz has played football since she was young and brings a huge passion for creating opportunities for women and girls to enjoy the game, whether that’s taking part for fun, confidence and community, or progressing through a competitive pathway.
She’s a lifelong Manchester United fan and has followed the Lionesses for as long as she can remember. Her standout football moment was being at Wembley in 2022, watching the Lionesses win their first ever Euros title.

She is currently working towards her UEFA C coaching certificate, sits on the club committee, and is one of our coach developers, helping support and grow coaches across the female pathway.

Liz’s focus is simple: ensuring every girl and woman who wants to play football has a welcoming, supportive and exciting place to do so.
